May product roundup
May brought a concentrated set of improvements to Artopia across PDF exports, art inventory data exports, bulk selection, and collection previewing. Here is what is new.
Sharper, more complete PDF exports
PDF output has been rebuilt around vector rendering. Text is now sharp at any zoom level, selectable, and searchable. This replaces the pixelated raster output that shipped before.
The formatting is also cleaner. Purchase dates display as year only, links appear as readable text rather than raw JSON, and asking prices are included when generating a sale proposal PDF. The primary image is always at the top of the PDF and is no longer toggled by a size option, which removes a source of confusion.
A new "Create a PDF of all artworks" option on the Export page generates a single PDF catalogue of your entire collection in one step.
More complete CSV exports
CSV exports now capture the full content of the "More" section, including Description, Condition report data, and Provenance entries, rather than only the legacy fields. Acquisition data is also included: Acquisition Source, Acquired From, Purchase Price, Currency, and Date. Purchase dates export as a four-digit year.
Bulk selection across the collection
A "Select all" toggle now appears above the Artworks grid, making it faster to apply bulk actions to the full collection. The same toggle is available in the Media Library grid view. Artwork cards also show a selection checkbox on hover, so adding individual works to a selection takes one click.
Collection preview redesign
The preview button has moved to the Collection page header and opens your public collection in a new tab rather than an inline card. This gives a more accurate view of how visitors see the page.
When viewing your own public collection, a banner at the top lets you switch between Desktop and Mobile layout modes. Public and Private status badges now display consistently across the Collection and Preview pages.
Expandable descriptions
Long descriptions in the "More" section now preserve line breaks and collapse after five rows with a "More / Less" toggle. The behavior matches how descriptions display in the Insights panel.
Smaller fixes
Profile photo no longer flashes to initials when switching browser tabs.
Artist forms preserve draft content when switching tabs or refocusing the window.
Scrolling in the image picker now loads additional files correctly.
